V okviru 285. doktorskega seminarja Grajeno okolje bo imel(-a) prof. dr. Diogo Ribeiro, Polytechnic of Porto – School of Engineering, Porto, Portugal predavanje z naslovom:
Condition monitoring strategies of railway subsystems aided by Artificial Intelligence
This lecture presents an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based methodology with the ability to detect damages on the bridge subsystem, using a I2I (Infrastructure to Infrastructure) approach, and train subsystem, based on a I2V (Infrastructure to Vehicle) approach, as well as to classify them in terms of severity and location. The methodology is hybrid and includes four main steps: a) feature extraction, b) feature normalization, c) data fusion and d) feature discrimination. The results of applying the methodology to a bridge and train will be presented to validate its accuracy and efficiency.
Diogo Ribeiro is Adjunct Professor at Polytechnic of Porto – School of Engineering (ISEP-IPP) a PhD in Civil Engineering (2012) from the University of Porto. He is also specialist in Metrology by the Portuguese Order of Chartered Engineers (2018) and Integrated Member of the Institute of R&D in Structures and Construction (CONSTRUCT) from the University of Porto. His main research interests are related to remote inspection, computer vision, artificial intelligence, automatic calculation of structures, Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital construction, digital railways, railway infrastructures, structural testing and experimentation, model updating and validation, and damage identification.
Predstavitev bo v petek, 1. 12. 2023, ob 10.00 v Zavod za gradbeništvo Slovenije, Dimičeva 12, Dvorana v 5 nadstropju.
